Job Summary
Create and execute original content (images, short form videos) and responses across Filtrete Brand’s owned social media channels 3-5 times a week to generate awareness and affinity for the brand; partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, creative/agency) to develop industry-leading assets; gather and analyze social media KPIs and adjust plans to drive audience growth; lead social media and cultural trend initiatives for the brand and present trends to management; monitor and respond to consumers, influencers, and other stakeholders while ensuring brand voice and quality; assist with the brand’s paid social strategy; work on-site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN with up to 5% travel and potential relocation; must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of experience posting and managing social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Three (3) years of Knowledge of social media best practices and trends in a private, public, government or military environment
- Three (3) years of Strong content creation experience, including ability to create and edit new social and video content in a private, public, government or military environment
