Job Summary
Consumer Direct Loan Officer at Leader Bank originates residential mortgage loans by meeting with potential clients, assessing their financial needs, and recommending appropriate mortgage products. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior loan origination experience
- documented residential mortgage loan volume of at least $15 million in the past 12 months
- strong knowledge of real estate lending practices and related areas
- ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, applications, and workflows
- compliance with SAFE Act including successful completion of required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS
- excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize activities
- self-motivated and able to work independently
- excellent client service and communication skills
- ability to meet critical deadlines and perform well under pressure
- experience handling inbound and outbound calls and guiding clients through mortgage products
