Job Summary
Consumer Direct Home Lending Advisor in Columbus, OH responsible for leading generation and conversion of warm inbound inquiries into qualified mortgage applications, managing CRM, conducting consults to guide clients through the mortgage process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing post-application client support to build long-term relationships. Requires mortgage sales experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; in-office schedule Monday–Friday with on-site training. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance or related field; 2+ years in mortgage sales or banking; track record of exceeding sales targets and successful conversions. This role involves adherence to Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements and NMLS registration upon employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage sales, banking, or related financial services
- strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or relevant financial software
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to adhere to in-office work schedule and participate in on-site training Monday through Friday, with varying hours
