Job Summary
Conduct respite care for a 4-year-old boy with Autism and Klinefelter syndrome in his home, including supervision, safety, toileting assistance, meal prep, and active engagement. Facilitate community outings such as park visits and trampoline play while building the child's confidence and independence. Provide companionship and social interaction tailored to the child's interests in toys and swings. Work 10 hours weekly, primarily on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with a flexible schedule subject to family needs and summer variations. Receive on-the-job training from the employer and family.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Criminal/Caregiver background check
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred
- Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred
- Experience with children with physical disabilities and/or development disability preferred
