Job Summary
Strategic Analytics Associate in Consumer & Community Banking Risk leads analytics to drive risk policies and innovation, partnering with cross-functional teams to launch risk policies and capabilities with emphasis on testing and controls while maintaining customer experience. Responsible for risk-management of waterfall income policies and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, collaborating with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance, and other units. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 2+ years of relevant experience; strong SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint skills; effective communication, project management, and ability to translate analytics into policy decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university
- 2+ years of risk management, financial services, analytics or consulting experience
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail to deliver new policies in a complex decision technology environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in solving business problems and working past ambiguity through structured analytics and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop effective controls and manage risk
- Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Risk Management, Data and Analytics or similar roles
- Strong SQL coding skills, Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Tableau skills
