Job Summary
VP within the Corporate Development Strategy & Operations Team focusing on competitive intelligence, market trends, and delivering actionable insights across Consumer & Community Banking. Responsible for ongoing competitive intelligence and market research, analyzing competitor strategies, product launches, pricing, marketing campaigns, and customer experience to identify risks and opportunities for Chase; synthesizing findings into clear insights for senior leaders and initiative leads; partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning, business development, and innovation; developing dashboards, reports, and presentations tracking key market and competitor metrics; handling ad hoc research and deep dives; ensuring research adheres to firm policies and controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, business development strategy, consulting, or related field
- Experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations
- Project management experience in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations without significant assistance
- Deep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and ability to build financial models in Excel
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal stakeholders
- Sense of urgency with disposition to execute and a demonstrated career of successful research and analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
