Job Summary
Supervise a team of 10–15 debt collectors by coaching staff, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting regular reviews. Ensure strict adherence to FDCPA, TCPA, and state regulations through call quality audits and proper management of sensitive accounts. Oversee multiple client portfolios by enforcing specific guidelines, monitoring recovery rates, and identifying relationship risks. Prepare performance reports, support compliance audits, and collaborate with Legal, IT, and Client Services on operational issues. Handle consumer complaints and maintain audit-ready documentation for all collections activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years consumer collections experience
- at least 2+ years specifically in third-party/agency collections
- 1–2+ years in a lead, senior collector, or supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, Regulation F, FCRA, and state collection agency licensing requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and client reporting/scorecard formats
