Job Summary
The Consumer Collections Specialist (Collection Adjuster 1) manages delinquency by contacting borrowers to arrange timely repayment, develops repayment/workout plans, educates borrowers on relief options, and collaborates with branches and servicing teams to reduce losses. Must adhere to FDCPA, SCRA, Privacy, Fair Lending, Identity Theft regulations; extensive use of calls, skip-tracing tools, and documentation; requires strong negotiation, communication, and data-analysis skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of Collection, Banking, Customer Service, Call Center, Sales, Auto Financing, Collection Agency, Law Firm, Credit Union
