Job Summary
Senior Counsel within JPMorgan Chase's Consumer Banking Legal Team focusing on strategic regulatory advisement under the National Bank Act, Regulations DD and E, and UDAAP. Provide practical legal guidance to business areas handling branch licensing, notary/medallion services, safe deposit boxes, and digital deposit offerings; maintain strong client relationships; monitor regulatory changes; own issues end-to-end; collaborate across Legal, Risk, Compliance and Controls; learn and apply complex banking regulations in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) required; licensed to practice law and member in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction
- 3+ years of legal experience in a major law firm, large in-house setting, or equivalent
- All candidates for roles in the Legal department must be licensed to practice law in the country of employment and successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment
