Job Summary
As a Critical Work Technician, you will execute critical Grade A and Grade B step plans adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include scheduled and condition-based replacement of critical equipment consumables, maintaining spare part inventories, and managing consumable lifecycle tracking. Required skills include mechanical aptitude, proficiency in using hand tools, ability to recognize safety hazards, and reading complex P&IDs. A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with technical skills in managing equipment like pumps and valves.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or technical school certification
- Technical/Mechanical aptitude for disassembling, replacing and reassembling components
- Proficient in using hand tools, torque wrenches, fittings and valves
- Ability to recognize hazards and follow safety protocol
- Ability to read and use complicated P&IDs
- Understanding of basic system equipment functions including transfer valves, pumps, hydraulic systems, and high-pressure air systems
