Job Summary
Communicate with property owners and public agencies regarding pruning and removals, conduct tree and brush inventories, and perform hazard tree inspections. Evaluate tree contractor performance for compliance with utility guidelines while managing and maintaining vegetation data. Promote and enforce on-the-job safety practices, operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, and perform other related duties as assigned. Requires a degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, or Environmental Science, ISA Arborist Certification within one year, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role in Royal Oak/Farmington Hills, MI, with a competitive benefits package including a company vehicle, ESOP, and workwear allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience in utility line clearance
- ISA Arborist Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in rugged terrain and inclement weather
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient in map navigation and Microsoft Office
