Job Summary
Consulting Utility Forester responsibilities include coordinating with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to plan and execute vegetation management work; conduct tree and brush inventories; perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations; develop work plans for contractors; gather and manage field data (tree species, size, distance from conductors); validate data across databases and ensure reporting accuracy; safeguard workers and the public, enforce safety practices, and perform site field activities and equipment management. Requires a degree in forestry or related field (ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months), a valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and strong communication skills; GIS/data collection experience is a plus.
