Job Summary
Consulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist based in Overland Park, KS. Lead technical and regulatory tasks across EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation, and remediation; prepare plans, permits, and technical reports for hazardous waste, air quality, and water programs; conduct Phase I ESAs and fieldwork including sampling and data collection; manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist clients in achieving regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes. Requires a BS in engineering or environmental science, 2-5 years of experience, travel ability, a valid driver's license, strong communication and analytical skills, and willingness to undergo background checks; not eligible for immigration sponsorship; hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering, environmental science or environmental science-related field (e.g., geology)
- minimum 2-5 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internships
- driver's license
- ability to travel to client locations across a large geographical area
- ability to pass pre-hire background check and drug test
- effective written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting
