Job Summary
Consulting Project Technical Manager for Healthcare, Federal, EHR leading day-to-day management of healthcare interfaces from design and deployment through cutover. Drive independent work, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage schedule, facilitate meetings, document risks, and manage interface readiness, validation, and Go-Live activities within the VA OEHRM deployment program. Key activities include coordination with Release Manager and Delivery Lead, interface engine configuration, IMS status reporting, risk/issue management, Jira backlog maintenance, vendor coordination, and preparing executive status updates. The role requires office presence in Arlington, VA four days per week and travel to the DC metro area (approximately 25%). The candidate should possess strong project management capabilities across technical and functional domains, and be able to guide teams through complex interface deployments from initiation to production readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be willing to work out of our Arlington, VA office 4x/week
- Project management experience in healthcare interfaces or healthcare IT deployments
- Experience with interface deployment, validation, and Go-Live activities
- Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Oracle Health Millennium Solution (OHMS) or similar interface engines
- Ability to create, maintain and report on project schedules and IMS (Integrated Master Schedule)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Travel willingness (25% to DC metro area)
