Job Summary
Consulting Manager at Pega in Japan: lead high-impact client engagements across Japan as an Engagement Leader/Architect, build and coach a 10–12-person team of System/Technical/Business Architects, advise senior executives, and drive talent development and certification goals (PCSA/CLSA). Shape practice strategy, stay current on GenAI capabilities, and partner with Talent Attraction for hiring. Fluency in Japanese and English required; travel up to 75% within Japan and APAC. Role emphasizes technical credibility, leadership, client relationship management, and collaboration with SI partners to deliver AI-driven, BPM-enabled transformations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; 12–15 years of experience OR Master's degree with 9–12 years of experience
- Pega platform expertise (5+ years hands-on) in BPM or related areas
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams of architects and consultants
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75% (within Japan and APAC)
- Experience partnering with system integrators (NEC, Fujitsu, NTT Data is a plus)
- Experience delivering client engagements in Financial Services, Healthcare/Insurance, Decisioning, or related domains
