Job Summary
Lead strategy, design, and implementation of sophisticated Data Center and networking solutions for customers, owning end-to-end delivery of high-impact engagements. Translate business requirements into scalable architectures while partnering with account teams to align designs with customer goals. Act as the primary escalation point for problem resolution, demonstrating deep expertise in L2/L3 protocols and Nexus platforms. Develop repeatable delivery frameworks and contribute digital intellectual capital to elevate the consulting practice. Ensure seamless system integration and proactive service assurance across traditional and virtualized fabric architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery roles
- Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies (vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Strong hands-on Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform experience
- Active Data Center certification such as CCIE or CCNP, or equivalent vendor certification (e.g. VCP)
- Experience integrating network services appliances (such as firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizers) within Data Center solution designs
- Experience in Build and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of software programmability, automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform and so on), orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies
- Experience with compute, virtualization, and container environments including Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Microsoft, and Kubernetes
- Technical familiarity with multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud from a network integration perspective
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers, with experience leading high-visibility strategic consulting engagements
