Job Summary
Consulting Engineer for Cisco Data Centre networking, leading strategy, design, and implementation of complex data-center and networking solutions. Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact engagements, translating customer requirements into scalable architectures, and influencing technology transitions. Partner with account teams and partners to align solution designs with customer goals, escalate and resolve sophisticated issues across a broad set of Cisco technologies, and contribute reusable delivery frameworks and knowledge-sharing practices to the consulting practice. Requires a BS/BE/BTech and 6+ years of relevant experience, with strong Nexus platform knowledge and data-center networking expertise.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent with 6+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols (VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Hands-on experience with Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platforms
- Knowledge of VXLAN, BGP EVPN
- Experience with Cisco ACI Fabric and SDN technologies (ACI MultiPod/Multisite Fabric)
- Preferred: knowledge of automation/orchestration (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and virtualization (Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to mentor and lead high-visibility engagements
