Job Summary
Consulting Engineer within Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) team, delivering Lifecycle Services and acting as a trusted advisor to transform customers' networks. Responsible for engaging with customers to create value, drive adoption, and renewals; providing Day-2 support across Cisco technologies using technical expertise, AI, and automation; developing and delivering technically sound customer-facing documentation; mentoring other engineers; and contributing to knowledge sharing and digital assets to improve Cisco delivery methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
- 1-2 years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of routing protocols ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS VPNs (MPLS L3VPN, MPLS L2VPN, EVPN)
- Familiarity with service provider platforms like ASR9k, NCS5k, NCS500, NCS6k and CRS
- Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or network solution designing of Cisco routers and switches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CCNA is must, CCNP desired (Routing & Switching / Service Provider)
