Job Summary
Consulting Engineer role supporting Cisco Customer Experience initiatives. Responsibilities include engaging with customers to create value and deliver outcomes, adoption, and renewals; proactive cross-functional collaboration to ensure a unified customer experience across the lifecycle; Day-2 support on Cisco products leveraging technical expertise, AI and automation to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction; serving as a focal point for proactive problem resolution; developing and delivering technical content and guidance that supports customer engagements and enables self-sufficiency; creating customer-facing documentation aligned with CX standards; contributing to knowledge sharing and digital intellectual capital, including automation artifacts and templates; and mentoring other engineers while balancing multiple projects. Minimum qualifications include 1.5+ years of experience with Cisco security products, a BE/B.Tech in CS or equivalent, networking fundamentals, CCNA is required with CCNP preferred, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include cross-functional collaboration, customer workshops experience, and knowledge of emerging technologies like SDA/SDWAN/ACI; AL/ML and network automation skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with basic networking technology
- Experience with LAN Switching, Routing
- Knowledge with at least one Cisco Security product from – ASA, FTD, Firepower, ISE, ESA, WSA, AnyConnect
- High level understanding of NAT, Zoning, VPNs, Identity management
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- CCNA is must and CCNP is preferred
