Job Summary
Design and deploy robust service provider solutions for strategic customers while acting as a trusted technical advisor. Independently execute deployment, migration, and optimization activities; create customer-facing documentation, migration plans, and implementation plans aligned to CX standards. Build complex test environments to validate designs and engage in solution discussions connecting proposed architectures to business priorities. Shape architectural direction for major enterprises and integrate AI and automation into service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent
- 4-8 years of experience in a similar job role
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers
- Knowledge of L2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (IPv4/IPv6, STP/RSTP, EVPN, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, QoS, Multicast)
- Knowledge of Unified MPLS Architecture
- Knowledge and hands-on experience on NCS540, NCS560, ASR9k NCS55xx and Cisco 8k platforms
- Has knowledge of overlay technologies like MPLS, L2VPN and L3VPN
- Has basic knowledge and understandings of Cisco SDN based technologies such as SR-MPLS and SRv6
Desired Qualifications
- Service Provider related certification (CCNA, CCNP)

- Understanding of relevant Cisco technologies and delivery methods and builds skills in articulating technical concepts
- Foundational consulting and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of software programmability, automation (Python, GitHub, Ansible, Terraform and so on), orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies
- Leverages AI and automation to enhance delivery efficiency, innovation and customer outcomes, while also increasing personal productivity and focus on high-impact work
