Job Summary
Lead ICF's policy research and evaluation services on education policy for the European Commission and its agencies. This role involves directing projects, managing a team, and supporting the development of proposals for EU institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in education and employment policy, enjoy working in a multicultural environment, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The successful applicant will be expected to enhance team capability and foster new opportunities in policy consulting.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic background; ideally at PhD level in social sciences, educational sciences, public policy, or international relations
- At least 10-15 years of professional experience in education and/or employment policy
- Experience working in a consultancy capacity
- Demonstrable experience in winning and successfully delivering research and evaluation projects for the European Commission
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience training or mentoring colleagues
- Commercial acumen and understanding of the policy consulting business model

- Experience conducting high quality EU level research and evaluation assignments
- Experience in managing teams
- Ability to develop sound conclusions and policy-relevant recommendations
