Consulting Director - Education & Training

Job Summary
Lead ICF’s policy research and evaluation services on education policy for the European Commission and its agencies. Successful candidates will direct projects secured under evaluation and consultancy framework contracts with DG EAC, support research and analytical proposals, and build an in-house team of education policy research specialists. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to develop sound conclusions and policy recommendations, and commercial acumen in the policy consulting business model.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10-15 years of professional experience in education and/or employment policy within the European context
- Strong academic background; ideally at PhD level in social sciences, public policy, educational sciences, international relations or a related discipline
- Experience of conducting high quality EU level research and evaluation assignments
- Knowledge of the education and employment research community
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing teams, coaching or mentoring colleagues
- Demonstrable experience in winning and successfully delivering research and evaluation projects
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills in English
- Experience with presenting key concepts to internal and external clients
- Ability to work within multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams
