Job Summary
Own the monthly close process and prep GAAP-compliant financial statements; manage day-to-day accounting including AP/AR, payroll coordination, and reconciliations; strengthen internal controls and accounting policies; support accounting system implementation, optimization, and documentation of procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Controller experience
- Experience managing month-end close
- Experience supporting organizations across multiple industries or complex business models
- Experience preparing or supporting financial statements, reconciliations, and audit requests
- Solid understanding of GAAP, including revenue recognition and accrual-based accounting
- Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP systems (QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Xero, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA license or active progress toward certification preferred, but not required
