Consulting Associate, Federal Client

Job Summary
Lead high-performing teams to deliver mission-critical solutions for Federal clients, including homeland security and emergency management initiatives. Manage Federal grant programs, analyze complex business problems using interviews and quantitative data, and create high-quality work products such as dashboards and presentations. Take full ownership of workstreams to improve operations and organizational structures while collaborating with clients to solve tough challenges and exceed expectations. Contribute to company service areas to develop new capabilities and sell new business. Requires 6+ years of professional experience with 4 in consulting, a Public Trust clearance, and the ability to work in the Washington, DC area.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of professional work experience
- 4 years of consulting and supervising experience or comparable analytical experience in a directly relevant business role
- Experience in large, complex Federal government or other nationwide programs with a preferred focus on grants and program management
- Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
- U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
- Currently holds a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance
