Job Summary
Consulting Associate, Environmental Construction (DDD) will lead and oversee field activities on remediation, DDD, asbestos, and construction projects across the oil & gas, industrial, and power sectors. You’ll develop bid packages and cost estimates, provide on-site supervision, coordinate subcontractors, review submittals, and ensure safety and quality through site-specific health and safety plans while serving as a liaison between field teams and project managers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 1–3 years of environmental engineering or construction management experience, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, ability to travel across the U.S., and a readiness to contribute to business development and client relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in environmental engineering or construction management consulting
- Experience on construction or remediation sites (DDD experience preferred)
- Ability to prepare and implement work plans, support field programs, and contribute to report writing
- Strong commitment to safety; OSHA 40‐hour HAZWOPER
- Ability to estimate, track, and manage project costs and documentation; familiarity with cost estimating tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and client‐service skills
- Experience overseeing subcontractors and supporting field execution
- Ability to coordinate site personnel, contractors, and vendors
- Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate for field assignments across the U.S.
- For the Consulting Associate, Environmental Construction (DDD): base pay range $66,081–$81,353; may include bonus; not eligible for immigration sponsorship
