Job Summary
Entry-level Consulting Associate (Contaminated Land and Remediation) in ERM's Site Investigation and Remediation team, UK. Field-based role with supervision of contractors, soil and groundwater sampling, site investigations, data analysis, and reporting. Supports fee proposals and client deliverables; training provided to develop project management skills. Travel to client sites is required; outdoors work and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential. Requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and safety awareness. Full UK driving licence is essential; hybrid work model indicated (office + field).
Required Qualifications
- Preferably degree level in environmental sciences, hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry or chemistry
- Consideration given to non-degree qualified with relevant work experience
- Full UK driving licence is an essential requirement
- Willingness to travel regularly and spend majority of time away from home
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines
- Experience with fieldwork supervision and data analysis is preferred
- Desire to build a career in sustainability and environmental consultancy
