Job Summary
Conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessments and Due Diligence for ESG management consulting projects aligned with IFC standards. Manage small to medium-sized projects from proposal development through delivery, including EH&S regulatory and compliance services. Communicate with clients to gather information and assist in defining project objectives using company or individually developed sources and methods. This role requires a Master's degree in environmental engineering or related disciplines and at least one year of relevant experience. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is fundamental, with a second language such as Russian preferred. Applicants must be based in Beijing or Shanghai and possess familiarity with Chinese environmental regulations and international risk management standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, sustainable development, sociology, resettlement, or related discipline
- At least 1 - 4 years relevant environmental working experience in multi-national companies or consulting environment
- Familiar with Chinese environmental regulatory requirements and international Environmental & Social risk management standards such as IFC Performance Standard and Equator Principle
- Familiarity with software including MS Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, etc.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent report writing skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Act as a Consultant in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental and Social Due Diligence, ESG management consulting projects

- Environmental and Social Due Diligence in line with IFC standards
- Environmental and Social/ESG Management System improvement
- EH&S regulatory and compliance service
- Responsible for managing small to medium size projects, from proposal development to delivery
- Assist on project objectives from sources and methods provided by the company or developed individually
- Communicating with clients and getting acquired information
Desired Qualifications
- Fresh graduates with relevant environmental internship experience can be considered
- Second language skill (such as Russian) is preferred
