Job Summary
Consulting Arborist responsibilities include providing in-depth arboriculture consulting services to homeowners, Architects/Construction teams, utility clients, and municipalities; travel within a specified region to perform site assessments, develop Arborist Reports for Development meeting city requirements, create Tree Management Plans, generate Tree Risk Assessments, conduct or assist with Tree Inventories, and supervise root-zone construction activities including some manual excavation and root pruning; requires strong communication, report-writing, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years Industry experience
- Certified Arborist
- TRAQ Certification
- Strong Tree Identification skills
- Valid provincial driver’s license
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Experience with MS Office is necessary. Experience with Bluebeam is an asset.
