Job Summary
Part-time Consulting Accountant for an outsourced accounting practice. Responsibilities include monthly financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, cash management, AR/AP, monitoring and improving internal controls, and assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and processes for multiple clients. Requires 1+ years of full-cycle accounting under GAAP, proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, and MS Dynamics, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and a CPA or licensing-in-process preferred. Must be able to meet deadlines and budgets; in-office role based in San Diego, CA. Compensation range $58,240–$62,400 annually equivalent (based on $28–$30/hour). Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience specifically with full-cycle accounting and understanding of GAAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Solid understanding of various accounting software systems: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics, etc.
- CPA License or licensing in-process preferred
