Job Summary
Consultative Pharmacy Technician in a remote/home/Hybrid role supporting clinical services: handle patient/pharmacy/provider intake, perform clerical/operational tasks, assist with medication research, evaluate calls for pharmacist consultation, and make outbound calls for medication therapy management programs, with schedule flexibility (training 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST; possible shifts 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST; occasional Saturday rotation); requires active state license, PTCB/ExCPT or equivalent experience, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and ability to work with PHI securely; travel to Humana offices may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license or Tech in Training license in the state of residence (Ohio, Arizona, Texas, or Florida)
- PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred
- Experience in technical/clinical/pharmacy call-center environment or technical mail-order/pharmacy manufacturing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability
- Proficient with multiple computer applications and data entry capabilities
- Ability to work in home/hybrid home/office setup with reliable internet (minimum speeds required)
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
