Job Summary
P&B Team Leader and Manager reporting role in Tokyo focused on delivering payroll services for clients, including monthly payroll and bonuses, onboarding/offboarding processing, payroll quality initiatives, process improvements, development of new tools/templates, and client HR communications. Responsible for operating client HR systems, providing help desk support, and reviewing monthly payroll prepared by team members. Requires HR/payroll experience, strong client-facing communication, and native Japanese language skills; emphasis on accuracy, organization, and ability to drive payroll-related projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in HR department and payroll calculation preferred
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Experience with external outsourcing preferred
