Job Summary
Consultant Urologist sought to join a well-established NHS hospital team in Northern Ireland. Role encompasses high-quality elective and emergency urology services, diagnosis and management of urological conditions, performing urological procedures and surgeries within a multidisciplinary setting, participation in outpatient clinics, ward rounds, theatre sessions, and on-call rota, with involvement in clinical governance, audits, teaching, and service development. Supervisory responsibilities for junior medical staff and trainees, with opportunities for career progression and subspecialty development. NHS pension and annual leave entitlement, flexible working options, strong clinical infrastructure, and a supportive department are provided. Applications should include a CV.
Required Qualifications
- GMC registration with licence to practise
- FRCS (Urology) or equivalent specialist qualification
- CCT in Urology (or within 6 months of completion) / CESR equivalent
- Experience working at Consultant level or near-completion of training
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamworking skills
