Consultant – UML Documentation, Data and Process Modeling

Job Summary
Manage and implement process improvement initiatives by leading change management efforts, coordinating activities, and working with stakeholders to map business processes and develop UML models. Design system and process improvement artifacts including process maps and standard work instructions, then oversee their implementation while developing Key Performance Indicators and tracking metrics to measure success. Mentor team members on business process engineering, Lean, and Toyota Production System fundamentals while driving organizational change across diverse clients ranging from small enterprises to Fortune 100 firms. Engage in longer-duration projects to analyze requirements and guide leadership decision-making using process performance analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in technical field with two years of professional experience, or Graduate Degree, or equivalent in combination of education and/or experience
- Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated success in analysis driven problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and influence without authority
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with client personnel
- Expertise in data analytics, data presentation, and KPI/dashboard development
- US Citizen or Authorized green card to work in the US
- UML modeling experience including Classes diagrams, Objects diagrams, Deployment diagrams, Package diagrams, Composite structure diagram, Component diagram, Activity diagrams, Interaction diagrams, and Use case diagrams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SDLC (System Development Life-cycle) processes preferred
- Understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively develop or improve business processes
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using process improvement tools and techniques to drive organizational change
- Prior experience in Lean, Visual Controls, Toyota Production System, or process design, and re-engineering strongly desired
- Knowledge of utility, or construction, or healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools
- Previous experience with OPPM - Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management
- Previous experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier - Capital Program Management
- Previous experience with Oracle Primavera P6 - Planning and Scheduling
- Previous experience with Ecosys - Enterprise Project Performance
- Previous experience with Sage Financial Management Software
- Previous experience with COUPA
