Consultant Town Planner

Consultant Town Planner with flexibility for hybrid working across UK offices (Basingstoke, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chesterfield, Leeds, London Aldgate, Manchester, Plymouth). You will join a market-leading infrastructure planning team delivering major development applications, planning advice, planning research and analysis, and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects. Responsibilities include preparing Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements, liaising with EIA teams to coordinate delivery, assisting with project management and quality assurance, contributing to commercial tenders, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support infrastructure projects across energy transition, rail, water, and other sectors. Strong technical planning knowledge, experience with development consent orders (DCO/TWAO), understanding of EIA legislation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to contribute to high-profile UK infrastructure programs, delivering tangible outcomes for communities and clients.
