Consultant Town Planner

Consultant Town Planner at AECOM UK, delivering major infrastructure planning projects across energy, transport, water and urban development. Join a national Planning and Stakeholder Engagement team with hybrid working options from multiple UK offices (Basingstoke, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chesterfield, Leeds, London Aldgate, Manchester, Plymouth). You’ll assist with planning applications, provide planning advice, conduct planning research, prepare Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements, liaise with EIA teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary project delivery, support project management, ensure QA and health and safety, contribute to successful tenders, and engage with stakeholders. Professional qualification required (Licentiate RTPI or equivalent) with progression toward full accreditation; experience on major planning applications; knowledge of UK planning policy and EIA legislation; familiarity with DCO/TWAO processes; strong communication, collaboration, and Microsoft Office skills. hybrid working is offered across multiple UK offices, with a focus on delivering high-quality infrastructure planning work for clients and communities."
