Job Summary

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including daily off-cycle payments, while reconciling reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Provide expert advisory on payroll procedures, tax implications, and garnishments, supporting audits and training client staff on systems and best practices. Identify automation opportunities within payroll systems and resolve discrepancies using Oracle, ADP, and SmartCompliance. Requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, CPP or FPC certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Full-time remote role with occasional client travel; collaboration with management and MS departments is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll or a related position
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Oracle and ADP, SmartCompliance as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve errors efficiently
  • High accuracy is essential in processing payroll to avoid mistakes and ensure compliance
  • Effective communication with clients, and management to address payroll inquiries and provide training
  • Ability to troubleshoot payroll system issues and recommend solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, labor laws, and garnishment compliance
  • Experience with payroll audits and compliance checks
  • Full time remote but may require occasional travel to client sites
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines during payroll cycles

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP or FPC))
