Job Summary
Deliver proposals including company profiles, scopes of work, and commercial terms for M&A transaction advisory services. Lead large, complex technical due diligence projects evaluating infrastructure assets for buy side, sell side, and project financing deals. Coordinate deliverables such as Q&A submissions, management sessions, and client reports while working with internal SMEs and subcontractors. Review business cases and financial models to validate CAPEX and OPEX assumptions, assessing asset integrity, operational performance, and maintenance systems. Mentor personnel and execute internal development tasks to enhance the infrastructure service line functionality. Requires 7+ years in energy/infrastructure engineering with strong report writing and client-facing skills. Full-time role based in India with global collaboration; ERM offers comprehensive benefits and sponsorship support.
Required Qualifications
- Solid academic background with an engineering bias (Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
- Minimum 7 years of technical consulting, engineering, or operational experience during your career within the energy / infrastructure sectors
- Strong technical skills and the ability to identify risks and opportunities within technical documentation, site visits and technical discussions, relating to points such as asset integrity, operational performance, management systems or business plans
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, self-motivation, self-sufficiency and the ability to work successfully in a fast turnaround team environment
- Must be able to promote and execute quality work, and ensure high standards are being achieved by yourself and the team
- Exhibit advanced report writing and presentation skills
- Experience in a client facing role
- Experience reviewing Contracts and Agreements, Financial Models, design and specifications, budgets for industrial projects
- Experience assessing asset integrity and performance (HSE, maintenance, availability, etc.)
- The ability to manage or assist with complex project delivery coordinating multiple workstreams into client deliverables
- Previous experience in technical due diligence
- Knowledge of current, reasonable costs associated with Capex (Capital Expense) and Opex (Operational Expense) for engineering assets / projects
- Familiar with decarbonization strategies and technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Management of previous external client projects or experience in a client facing role
- Hands on working experience of Renewable Energy Due Diligence (Solar / Wind / BESS/ Hydro) and in calculation of Energy Yield Assessment
