Job Summary
Lead projects and deliver a clear strategy by partnering with marketing, engineering, and sales to provide complete server solutions to customers. Create technical product requirements for cloud and data center infrastructure based on customer needs, industry trends, and business goals. Engage with senior executives, engineering teams, and product marketing to convey capabilities, understand challenges, and escalate critical issues to management and vendors. Provide product training to internal teams, sales staff, and customers while delivering support to both internal and external stakeholders. Manage products from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in system/server architecture
- Demonstrate ability in product management role
- managed a number of products from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life
- Strong knowledge with computer architecture including data center solutions
- Exceptional communication and presentation skill
- able to communicate effectively with customers to promote, answer questions, and receive feedback
- Experience with virtualization, containerization, and storage products (e.g. VMware, Virtual Box, Docker, Kubernetes, PFS, pNFS, and CEPH)
