Job Summary
Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist in Dubai overseeing comprehensive psychiatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnosing and managing mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality, and substance use disorders; developing individualized pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment plans; providing crisis intervention; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; monitoring progress and ensuring compliant documentation; educating patients and families; participating in governance, audits, and CPD; contributing to service development and community outreach. Eligible candidates typically hold ABPN, UK GMC Specialist Register, European Board Certification, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, or Arab Board/FCPS/MD Psychiatry, with DHA license eligibility or active DHA license being advantageous; relocation support is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist in relevant jurisdictions (ABPN, GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board/FCPS/MD Psychiatry)
- DHA license eligibility or active license advantageous
