Job Summary
Consultant Specialist role with HSBC Software Development (GuangDong) Limited Xi’an needs an experienced professional to collaborate with local business and IT teams across projects, provide end-to-end delivery and run support for software development and testing, automate environments to ensure high-quality code and data, create technical test plans, support DevOps during releases, resolve incidents, and ensure service resilience. Requires Java/ Spring Boot/ Maven/ Postman/ IntelliJ experience, API development knowledge, HSBC standards, strong communication, English proficiency, travel flexibility, weekend/late-hour availability, and ability to work in cross-cultural teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields
- More than 5 years’ technical skills and experience in software development using Java, Spring boot, MAVEN, Postman, IntelliJ, JAVA WEB system with UI technical skill React JS
- Experience in API development, knowledge of HSBC API development standards
- Experience in managing significant risks and problem resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience of working with diverse teams
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially in email communication and reporting
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery; Excellent problem solving and User support skills
- Willing to travel per project and support need
- Flexibility to work on weekends or late hours
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
- Experience working in a team with different cultures
