Job Summary

Lead field operations on large-scale automotive manufacturing and industrial construction projects, managing complex schedules, cost control, and site documentation including daily reports, punch lists, and RFIs. Direct large teams through hands-on supervision, mentorship, and training while ensuring strict adherence to safety programs and OSHA regulations to maintain a ZERO Incidents goal. Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and project management to execute master schedules, manage permits, and implement innovative construction methods. This role requires extensive travel across the United States and twelve years of industry experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • An equivalent combination of a high school degree with training and/or experience
  • Twelve years industry experience
  • Eight years supervisory experience in construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling
  • Advanced understanding of cost control
  • Ability to control and supervise large groups
  • Basic understanding of craft jurisdiction
  • Understanding of working under collective bargaining agreements
  • Awareness of the general construction
  • Awareness of structural steel installation
  • Awareness of crane setup
  • Awareness of crane capacity
  • Awareness of masonry
  • Awareness of millwright work
  • Awareness of heavy rigging
  • Awareness of critical lift plans
  • Understanding of a wide variety of building systems including structural steel
  • Understanding of metal deck
  • Understanding of cast in place concrete systems and shoring
  • Understanding of wood framing
  • Understanding of chilled water systems
  • Understanding of steam generation and distribution
  • Understanding of emergency power and electrical systems
  • Understanding of high and medium voltage
  • Ability to mentor and train project team in all construction issues
  • Ability to efficiently lead large teams on complex projects
  • Ability to show leadership
  • Ability to be calm under pressure
  • Must have basic understanding of craft jurisdiction and working under collective bargaining agreements
  • A valid driver's license
  • Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check

Desired Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, and enclosure systems
  • Willingness to travel
  • Be a leader in the development and teaching of team members in all aspects of project execution
  • Implement Boldt Production System (BPS) planning
  • Lead and facilitate BPS meetings as needed
  • Participate in PKP (Project Readiness) planning
  • Implement and maintain the productivity plan
  • Monitor, maintain and educate on our safety program including detailing and correcting unsafe work practices and work hazards
  • Ensure all on-site activities are carried out in accordance with Boldt's safety program and applicable OSHA (state and federal) regulations
  • Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place and kept current
  • Participate in the development of the master schedule
  • Work with the project owner, project management, and subcontractors as the need arises
  • Monitor our jobsite document controls including daily reports
  • Monitor our jobsite document controls including Built in Quality (BiQ) Program
  • Monitor our jobsite document controls including punch lists
  • Monitor our jobsite document controls including schedule updates
