Job Summary
Conduct senior technical expertise on project tasks to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within budget. Provide frequent updates to project managers, assist with defining project schedules, and review project plans to understand scope and assigned work. Participate in client and project team meetings, assist with research and data analysis, and prepare written documents, reports, and presentations for clients. Track hours spent on projects, perform quality assurance on deliverables, and coordinate with cybersecurity, control systems, IT, operations, and other stakeholders to support project execution. Engage frequently for input related to area of expertise, review published reports to identify customer intelligence, and participate in proposal development and marketing activities. Support ICS/OT cybersecurity activities within capital projects, operational programs, and compliance-related initiatives in industrial environments. Serve as a cybersecurity advisor to control systems and project teams, helping align security, operational, and client requirements. While the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant professional experience
- Must have an advanced degree or bachelor's degree and equivalent experience
- Professional certifications required
- US Citizenship required for roles supporting government contracts
- Must be able to gain, retain, illustrate comprehension of learned technical knowledge, and transfer knowledge to other members of the team
- Must be able to mentor/coach mid-level consultants and hone technical skills in others
- Must be able to actively listen to the needs of our clients by receiving shared information and determine context of the information provided and generating probing questions to better understand, retaining the information for future access, engaging with sales team on potential opportunities, suggesting solutions to sales team, and responding with proposed solutions
- Must be able to openly accept change as part of business evolution to meet the needs of the clients, provide recommendations to enhance business, and drive change across the organization
- Must possess a firm understanding of key performance indicators and their significance to the business and take action to drive results amongst the organization
- Must be able to utilize established rapport and role as a subject matter expert with existing clients to facilitate development of new business through identifying and consistently generating new business opportunities
- Must be able to coach others on development of customer intimacy and new opportunities
- Must demonstrate a proficient level of time management skills
- Must have a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System
- Must be available for regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations
