Job Summary
Provide specialist surgical care for polytrauma and acute emergencies; lead trauma resuscitations and operative management; collaborate with anaesthesia, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and critical care; mentor and supervise junior doctors, fellows, and trainees; contribute to research, CME activities, and service innovation; maintain high standards of safety, governance, and evidence-based care.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Specialist qualification in General Surgery/Trauma Surgery (FRCS, FRACS, American/Canadian Board, or equivalent)
- Completed recognised fellowship in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery preferred
- Minimum 7 years’ post-CCT experience for Senior Consultant appointment
Desired Qualifications
