Job Summary
Lead series production, SOP, and ramp-up activities while monitoring OEE, scrap reduction, and productivity. Conduct discrete event simulations and develop factory layouts to optimize workflows and eliminate non-value-added operations. Manage project scope, structure, and timelines, coordinating cross-functional meetings to review yield and utilization. Implement data-driven process optimization strategies integrating IoT and automation for smart manufacturing transformations. Lead response to quality issues and develop corrective action plans to maintain high production standards. Act as a liaison between local teams and global leadership to align industrial engineering initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive or electronic manufacturing and/or industrialization
- Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, new product launch, manufacturing ramp-up & scaling, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and manufacturing system analysis
- Expertise in Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Optimization
- Hands-on experience with Vistable, Tecnomatix, Plant Simulation, or similar production simulation software
- Strong knowledge of factory layout design, value stream mapping (VSM), and capacity planning
- Excellent English and Thai communication skills, both written and spoken
- Located in Thailand with legal work authorization and willing to work on-site and in upcountry locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Background in automotive or electronics manufacturing
- Experience in factory automation and simulation
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), ERP, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Experience with Optics, PCBA, and clean-room manufacturing
