Job Summary
Consultant to shape TransUnion’s lending and risk insights; lead advanced research on consumer and MSME lending trends, inform industry dialogue, and support Sales with complex concepts. Responsibilities include analyzing credit industry trends, proving/disproving hypotheses, developing Research papers and publications, coordinating with Product Teams to translate concepts into products, coordinating with Sales Teams to disseminate industry knowledge, and engaging with clients. Requires MBA or economics/statistics background, 6-9 years in lending analytics, proficiency in R/SAS, Python, SQL, and modeling, plus strong communication and ownership. Hybrid role with a minimum of two in-person days per week at the Mumbai office.
Required Qualifications
- MBA from preferably top 20 B-Schools, OR MA (Economics) / M. Statistics from top 10 institutions; Graduation in Engineering/Economics/Statistics/Commerce from top-Tier colleges
- 6-9 years of experience in lending Analytics (Retail/ Commercial lending)
- Knowledge of lending industry is mandatory
- Working on R/SAS, Python and SQL and basic modelling knowledge
- Strong communication, organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills
