Job Summary
Conduct assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans for clients with complex needs across Acute and PICU wards, ensuring dignity and high standards of care. Provide support and guidance to psychologists, assistants, and trainees while developing and delivering formulation-led care. Oversee supervision, run reflective practice groups, and lead on therapeutic modalities including CBT and additional interventions. This 12-month maternity cover role runs from October 2026 to October 2027 in a specialist acute psychiatric service for adult males, requiring HCPC registration and five years of post-registration consultant-level experience.
Required Qualifications
- Consultant Psychologist
- HCPC registered
- minimum of five years' post-registration experience at Consultant level
- demonstrating leadership and strategic experience
- Essential training includes CBT
- at least two further therapeutic modalities
- at least one intervention appropriate to the patient group
- access to a vehicle or the ability to drive
