Job Summary
Conduct patient consultations for medical cannabis treatment, including assessment, ongoing management, and clinical decision-making on prescribing. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team where nurses and pharmacists handle pre-consultation and follow-up tasks, allowing focus on clinical judgment and care delivery. Contribute to clinical outcome data collection to support evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing specialist training in cannabis-based medicines. Provide high-quality care to patients seeking alternative therapy options while maintaining robust patient care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Full valid GMC Registration
- Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent certification
- On the GMC Specialist Register for Psychiatry
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
