Job Summary
Lead transportation projects from initiation through close-out by managing advertisements via ECMS, organizing stakeholder meetings, and overseeing design submissions and plan reviews. Track schedules, budgets, and milestones while handling environmental documentation, permitting, and utility relocations. Coordinate with engineering consultants, municipalities, DVRPC, PADEP, and PennDOT to resolve design issues and advance packages. Review consultant proposals, develop capital plans, prioritize reconstruction projects, and oversee bridge inspection programs. Provide technical support to maintenance crews and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate familiarity with PennDOT's project development process for local projects and their project delivery systems
- at least 5 years of project management and project delivery experience
- willing to work in a collaborative team setting
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with teams, government officials, and the public
- Discipline strengths could include structural, highway or traffic engineering
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of PennDOT publications/processes
