Consultant Project Manager - Construction

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale construction projects, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality. Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet objectives. Implement governance, processes, and systems throughout the lifecycle. Conduct regular risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Monitor finances and change control. Facilitate clear communication through meetings and reports. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Mentor and guide junior project managers. Requires Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and PMP certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to manage client and contractor relationships. Experience in consultancy is preferred; familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale construction projects
- Experience in a consultancy environment is preferred
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and team members
- Knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus
