Job Summary
Consultant – Portfolio Management Office at Northern Trust in Pune. Responsibilities include working with the Product Owner and Project Managers to collate key updates and risk factors across multiple projects and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders; monitor and report productivity savings for portfolios and initiatives with cross-functional teams globally; monitor monthly financials for each portfolio and project and communicate outcomes to key stakeholders; operate independently with deep knowledge of the business unit and related areas; interact directly with committees and/or Senior Management; utilize Excel, Power BI, and Clarity for tracking information, dashboards, and analysis of project expenses/costs. Required: 6–7 years of PM experience in capital markets; strong analytical, financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and stakeholder coordination skills; proficiency with Accel DevOps, Clarity, Power BI, and Excel; ability to manage multiple projects with global teams; excellent communication skills. Preferred: SAFe 6 certification; experience with budgeting, resourcing, and regulatory frameworks in financial services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 7 years of proven experience in Project Management within the capital markets domain
- Analytical skills with strong logical reasoning
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, cost benefit analysis, and stakeholder coordination
- Hands-on proficiency with project management and dashboarding tools like Accel DevOps, Clarity, PowerBi, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with global, cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field
